Manufacturing Capability - FOWALL Curtain Wall Factory

One Facility. Every Critical Step.
FOWALL is a curtain wall manufacturer that owns every critical step of production. We don't buy profiles from anonymous suppliers or hand assembly to subcontractors — we cast, extrude, finish, machine, assemble, test, and pack in one facility.
Our Base
The Zhaoqing Base — Built to Own the Whole Chain

FOWALL is the global facade brand of Daming Aluminum — a manufacturing legacy that began in 1985. That legacy is built out at the Zhaoqing base: a 550,000 m² integrated manufacturing park commissioned in 2016, with 30,000 m² dedicated to curtain wall production and the remainder covering aluminum profile and sheet manufacturing. The entire chain runs on one site — casting, extrusion, finishing, CNC machining, unitized assembly, quality inspection, and export packing.
Why it matters to your project:
- Single point of accountability — no hand-offs between subcontractors. When you audit FOWALL, you audit the factory that actually makes your product.
- One production schedule — all critical steps on one site means no cross-factory waiting, fewer logistics risks.
- Full traceability — material records run from the aluminum ingot to the finished unit, on one quality system.
The Process
Eight Critical Steps. One Roof. No Outsourcing.
Every FOWALL unitized curtain wall passes through eight in-house production stages — with no outsourced links and no anonymous subcontractors. Each stage is staffed, equipped, and quality-gated by FOWALL, and documented for your project file.

Casting — Alloy Control Starts at the Ingot
Primary aluminum billet is received, inspected, and alloy-formulated in-house before any profile is extruded. Chemistry is controlled and recorded from the ingot, so material traceability begins at the very first stage — not somewhere down the supply chain.

Extrusion — Precision in the Press
Multi-tonnage extrusion presses spanning up to 3,600 tonnes shape profiles to tight dimensional tolerances. Die design and press selection are matched to each profile's section complexity, so every meter of profile fits the system it belongs to.

Finishing — Anodizing & PVDF, Done In-House
Profiles are finished on in-house anodizing and PVDF fluorocarbon coating lines — the finishes specified on your drawings, applied under controlled bath and booth conditions. FOWALL was the first Chinese manufacturer to supply PVDF curtain wall profiles to the Japanese market, where finish durability is non-negotiable.

Shop Drawings & Fabrication Design — Turning Finished Profile Into Your Project's Geometry
With finished profiles in hand, FOWALL's engineering team develops shop drawings and fabrication details specific to your project — confirming joinery, gasket seats, drainage paths, and dimensional tolerances before any machining begins. This is what keeps the next stage precise instead of generic.

CNC Fabrication — Machining That Makes the System Perform
Unit frames are machined on CNC centers for precise joinery, gasket seats, and drainage details, to the fabrication design confirmed in the previous stage. This machining accuracy is what allows the system to deliver the air- and water-tightness it was tested for — sloppy machining is the fastest way to lose it.

Factory Assembly & Sealing — Built to Standard Before It Leaves Our Facility
Unitized units are assembled, sealed, and gasketed in dedicated halls under controlled conditions. Stick-built and other systems are pre-fabricated and quality-checked to the same standard here, ready for erection on your site by trained installation crews following the system's documented procedure.

QC Inspection — Every Stage Feeds a Gate
Dimensional and performance sampling is built into every stage, not just at the end. Profiles and finished assemblies are checked against project drawings and in-house performance standards before release.

Export Packing — Seaworthy, Container-Planned
Finished units are packed to seaworthy standards — timber crates, steel racks, and planned container loading that protects corners, gaskets, and glass across ocean transit. Your units arrive the way they left the assembly hall.
Equipment
Equipment That Delivers Tolerance
Claims are only as good as the machines behind them. FOWALL's curtain wall production is backed by Daming Aluminum's group-wide manufacturing scale — including casting, extrusion, finishing, and CNC lines feeding directly into FOWALL's own assembly halls.

Quality System
Quality Is a System, Not a Promise
FOWALL's own quality system is certified, not claimed: ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management. In-house testing covers the performance your facade will be specified against — air permeability, water tightness, wind load resistance, thermal performance (U-value), acoustic insulation, and salt-spray corrosion resistance.

Backed by Daming Aluminum Group
As part of Daming Aluminum, FOWALL draws on group-level credentials built over 40+ years: recognition as a National High-tech Enterprise, China Green Building Materials product certification, and participation in drafting the national standards GB/T 5237 (wrought aluminum alloy extruded profiles for architecture) and GB/T 26014 (decorative aluminum profiles) — the same standards FOWALL's own products are measured against.
Capacity & Delivery
Capacity & Delivery — In the Language of Your Schedule
FOWALL ships 20 containers of finished curtain wall units per month, with standard lead times of 40–55 days confirmed per project against your construction program. Every shipment goes out to seaworthy export packing standards — so "how much can you deliver, and when does it ship?" gets a straight answer in your quotation.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is FOWALL a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. FOWALL owns production stages in-house — casting, extrusion, finishing, CNC fabrication, assembly, quality inspection, and export packing — at a 550,000 m² Zhaoqing base that is part of Daming Aluminum. There are no outsourced links and no anonymous subcontractors between the aluminum billet and the finished unit.
How large is the FOWALL factory?
